Farmers’ Restaurant Shirakami

Shirakami’s menu is made with ingredients harvested from the mountains, rivers, and sea around the Shirakami Mountains, so it is a very simple, vegetarian menu. Ingredients and wild vegetables change with the seasons. We hope you will enjoy the food of Shirakami’s matagi (Traditional bear hunters) and the lifestyle of its people.

Schedule and Hours

  • The restaurant is always open on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Reservations are accepted from Wednesday to Sunday.
  • Business hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • We may be closed during the farmers’ peak season (tree planting events and aroma gathering season).

  • Shirakami Green Curry is always served on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • For reservations, please choose from the attached PDF menu. (Reservations accepted up to 3 days in advance)
  • The Farmhouse Restaurant is a restaurant run by farmer mothers. Please note that the restaurant may be closed during busy seasons, tree planting events, and during the collection of aroma materials.
  • On Saturdays and Sundays, only Shirakami Green Curry is served during regular hours.
  • Other than Green Curry, other meals from Wednesday to Sunday are available upon reservation (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). (Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.)
